WIMPS Coach/Media Training
We are setting up new WIMPS Crew right across Northern Ireland - and we are looking for volunteer coaches to work with these groups. Do you think you've got what it takes?
The training will focus on working with young people through new media. We have big ambitions and are currently recruiting new coaches to help support local teams of young people through our WIMPS (Where Is My Public Servant? and Away from Violence projects. So we are looking for people right across Northern Ireland.
The training will include an introduction to our Civic Youth Work model and focus on using new media in youth work with a particular emphasis on 'coaching' young people as part of a local WIMPS Crew. The training is for Public Achievement coaches only - so we are looking for participants who will support a group in their area.
