Children Threatened With Arrest
Three young children in Poole, England were threatened with arrest after picking daffodils.
The Daily Mirror has reported that a 4, 6 and 10 year old were reduced to tears after a local councillor reported them to police. Police officers said they’d had a report of flowers ripped up. It is reported that they told the children, ‘We have let you off, but if you don’t leave (the park) we will have to arrest you for theft.’
