Citizen worries council is unprepared for Zombie Attack
A member of the public has put in a Freedom of Information act to their local council in England, asking how prepared they would be if a zombie invasion happened.
The 'concerned citizen' wrote to Leicester City Council wanting to know “what provisions you have in place in the event of a zombie invasion?” because the citizen was worried that “having watched several films it is clear that preparation for such an event is poor and one that councils throughout the kingdom must prepare for.”
The council was forced to admit that they have no preparations in place.
A Freedom of Information request is when members of the public can gain recorded information taken from public authorities on different issues.
Lynn Wyeth, who works for the council as head of information governance, said that, “We've had a few wacky ones before but this one did make us laugh.”
