When it’s ignored
Young people who are over 18 are being turned away from Pubs and Clubs because of confusion over acceptable ID.
A survey by Citizen Card, showed that 47% of their cardholders have had their card refused. The data suggests that well over half a million legitimate customers with PASS cards have been turned away from UK pubs, clubs and bars.
Young people use the cards to prove their age. While passport and driving licences are more readily accepted, about half a million young people in the UK have neither.
