Exhibition now open in the Red Barn Gallery.

Interactive Interfaces is a project borne out of Public Achievement’s Away from Violence programme where young people are supported to address the issues of violence affecting their lives.

See a video of one of the people taking part: Moe is Angry.

Groups of young people from either side of the same interfaces in Derry/Londonderry, Portadown and West Belfast paired up.  Through a series of workshops, residentials, and exhibition visits the young people have created art, photography and film content, integrating it into an exhibition to communicate their lived experiences in interface communities.

The result of that work was unveiled on Tuesday 20th in the Red Barn Gallery 43b Rosemary Street, Belfast BT1 1QB. You can see the work and meet the young people who have created it

The exhibition will be ‘on tour’ in various venues across Northern Ireland throughout 2012.
